| Hull, deck and bulkheads
Materials:
Grade 43 mildsteel plate; hot-rolled sections: hollow sections and solid
bars welded with electrodes to B.S. 639 for maximum strength. Windows
6mm Armourplate. Wooden doors: Meranti.
Construction:
Plates and gussets pre-cut using Computer Aided Manufacturing for accuracy
and least offcuts. CNC cutting and nesting with air plasma or gas for
best efficiency and productivity.
Surface Finish:
All steel sandblasted and painted with special primer for throughwelding.
During construction continuous primer touchup assures a rustfree endproduct.
Proposed paint specification is supplied.
Engine Room:
Integral fuel tanks port and starboard with bolted inspection hatches;
filler and breather pipes and outlet sockets.
Basic enginebeds for main propulsion engine with precut holes in frames
for a sterntube to be installed by client.
"SCHILLING" rudder complete with stainless steel rudderstock, VESCONITE
bushes for pintle and stock, steering arm and emergency rudder extension.
Steps from the above-deck entrance in superstructure.
Fish Hold:
Empty space with access through deck in the position indicated by client.

Forecastle:
Freshwater tanks integral with hull fitted with fillers and breathers.
Steps down to lower accommodation level. Two showers/toilets on top deck
with access through wooden doors from main deck.
Foredeck:
Whaleback over accommodation incorporates an anchor hatch with chainlocker
in bows.
Ventilation pipes for tanks and accommodation.
Handrails on all sides 900mm high.
Bowroller checkplates in mildsteel.
Two bollards and fairleads.
One mast with stays supplied loose for ease of transport.
Main Deck:
Open space with wood capping on gunwales at height of 750mm continuing
around reardeck.
Scuppers to suit retention of small fish but subject to D.O.T. approval.
Rear Superstructure:
Consisting of wheelhouse, Captain's accommodation, shower/toilet cubicle,
storage compartment, galley with wooden door access from reardeck, access
door to engine room, rear canopy, radar arch and top rear deck with handrails
and steps up.
Access steps to wheelhouse on portside from side-deck continues to walkway
in front of wheelhouse with lookout positions and access to foredeck.
Wheelhouse fitted with sliding door and windows but otherwise left bare
for owner to fit out himself.
Galley and other compartments the same.
