18m Monohull Steel Fishing Trawler

A steel monohull commercial fishing vessel specially designed and developed by Boatloft cc with models and prototype to be safe, stable, economical and seakindly whilst fishing - even when the competition has gone home to shelter from the worst of sea conditions. Exclusive design features include the unique winged keel. This registered design innovation is incorporated to give exceptional rolldamping as well as low amplitude pitching, resulting in a fast and comfortable commercial fishing boat in the roughest seas. An exceptionally large (10 000 litre) fresh water tank in the bows, a Blastfreezer and the "Schilling" rudder system are added features that make this craft stand out ahead of the competition.

Exclusive Design Features

1. The "Winged Keel" (Design Registration 95/0945)is incorporated to give exceptional rolldamping as well as low amplitude heaving and pitching resulting in a fast and comfortable boat in rough seas, that can fish when others can't..
2. Fresh water tank in bows for large 10 000 liter capacity - DOT approved.
3. "Schilling" rudder for exceptional maneuverability. The prototype boat of this series M.F.V. SHARON is living proof of above statements.
4. Bottoms of 8mm thick steel plate = bulletproof!
