Developed for paramilitary applications worldwide, the Bobkat 10x range is a favourite, developed for maritime operations that demand the maximum from a work boat. The Bobkat 1012 is ideally suited to air/sea rescue, offshore environmental and territorial protection, as well as coastal policing. A combination of innovative catamaran design, advanced Hydro Supportive Foil technology and the latest waterjet propulsion systems results in a versatile and economical high speed craft capable of exceptional stability, sea keeping qualities and manoeuvering under the most demanding conditions. The waterjet propulsion system permits speeds in the 32 to 38 knot range in conditions up to sea state five. The waterjets also allow for exceptional shallow water and emergency-stop capabilities. As alternative, this 10m craft can be fitted with outdrives. All Bobkat hull designs undergo stringent tests in controlled laboratory conditions, resulting in a unique configuration that outdoes all comparable designs even in the most demanding sea-keeping conditions. The spacious 10m2 level aft deck allows ample working space. The helm is fitted with full instrumentation: state of the art navigation systems, Radar, depth counter and 29 meg and VHF radio equipment. Accommodation consists of three single berths, head and fully fitted galley. A secure chart room and numerous lockers provide ample storage space, to be configured to client's specifications. The Bobkat 1012 can be effectively crewed by two. |
