Designed to provide optimal safety, stability and performance, the Bobkat 9150 is the ideal craft for the serious fisherman. The Bobkat 9150 was styled to the guidelines of the customer.

This fibreglass catamaran provides optimal stability and low hull resistance. The unique tunnel steps create a two phase medium of water and air, dampening vertical accelerations, while the sponson configuration assures banking to the inside during turns. These unique features, combined with correct weight distribution and bow design, allows for non-broaching in the heaviest of following seas. Six watertight compartments add to the safety factor that no monohull can equal. All fishing and navigational aids are optional (an IFGA Fighting Chair, bow gimballed fighting seat, trolling posts, rod holders, a huge 800mm diameter live bait well, two 2m long fish boxes holding 1 500kg of fish and a preparation centre including sink, cutting board and tackle drawers).

The cockpit features a fully instrumented helm according to customer specification, and has the option of two cabins that can sleep three. The optional galley (starboard belowdecks) can be fitted with ample storage space, a basin and kettle, a microwave oven, hob and fridge.

This versatile craft can be produced with the propulsion options of your choice: anything from outboards to powerful diesel outdrives or jets capable of producing speeds in excess of 40 knots. The Bobkat 9150 (incorporating Patent No. 77/6413) will prove itself to be the answer to the requirements of customers who demand comfort, speed and safety even in adverse wind or sea conditions. Its cost-effectiveness makes it a leader in its class.
